Yesterday Ethos hosted a brainstorming session about how to improve government, featuring experts from cross sector organizations such Amazon, GW University, GSA, Blue Delta Capital Partners and Box. The group began an ongoing discussion about how to promote innovation, specifically from a technology and procurement perspective.

The lively group explored such questions as how to more effectively bring the voice of the citizen into government. As well as whether there is a way to accelerate future-focused technology products, services, and management innovations into government.

A common theme emerged around how to make sure agencies focus on what citizens want rather than just innovating for the sake of innovation.

We’re looking forward to continuing this conversation in the coming months. If you would like to join the conversation, please email Lauren Rabb on our team.
